Who We Are
SIAM Standard Ring Officiating is an effort to both educate and grow the sport of Muay Thai through the basic understandings of rules & regulations in Muay Thai. Whether it be judging, timekeeping, referee, or an inspector- our goal is to help provide training at a quality that meets or exceeds standards for most boxing commissions.
Jonathan Puu
Founder & Chair
Jonathan Puu is a former Muay Thai fighter, coach, gym owner, and ring official with more than a decade of experience in the sport across the United States and internationally. He has officiated more than 3,000 bouts at Muay Thai tournaments and events and continues to work regularly as a ring official. Puu has held official licenses with the Arizona Department of Gaming Boxing & MMA Commission, the New Mexico Athletic Commission, and the Colorado Combative Sports Commission, in addition to working with multiple sanctioning bodies. He is the founder and director of SIAM Standard, a training and development program focused on improving consistency and professionalism in Muay Thai officiating.
Adam Wagner
Pacific / West Coast Region
Adam Wagner is a licensed professional ring official with the California State Athletic Commission and has officiated more than 1,700 bouts as a judge and referee across amateur and professional Muay Thai events. He has worked with multiple sanctioning bodies and promotions throughout the United States and internationally. Wagner remains actively involved in the sport through his media platform Out Of Step, which covers Muay Thai and combat sports.
